Limelai Limited (“Limelai”, “we”, “us”) takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use limelai.com, why we collect it, how we look after it and the rights you have under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
Limelai Limited is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16486216, with a registered office at 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at any time on hello@limelai.com.
2. What data we collect
- Contact form data: your name, work email, company name, the topic you have chosen and the message you write to us.
- Newsletter signups: your email address, the date you subscribed and which page you subscribed from.
- Analytics data: if you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation to count visits and understand which pages are popular. We never use analytics for advertising.
- Technical logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps short term logs containing IP address, user agent and request URL for security and abuse prevention.
3. Why we use your data (lawful basis)
- To reply to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for. Lawful basis: contract or legitimate interest.
- To send newsletters you have asked for. Lawful basis: consent.
- To understand site usage. Lawful basis: consent, via the cookie banner.
- To keep our website secure. Lawful basis: legitimate interest.
4. How long we keep data
Enquiries are kept for 24 months from your last contact unless you become a customer, in which case we keep them for the life of the contract plus 6 years for tax and accounting purposes. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.
5. Sharing your data
We never sell personal data. We share it only with trusted processors who help us run the business, including Vercel (hosting, EU/US), Google (analytics, opt in only) and our email provider. We have appropriate data processing agreements in place.
6. International transfers
Where data leaves the UK, we rely on the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. We can share specific transfer mechanisms on request.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your data (the right to be forgotten).
- Restrict or object to how we use your data.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis.

8. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page and dated above.
